Chargers, 49ers get picks in vet trades … While we were warming up for tonight’s Giants’ game with the Buccaneers sitting in a dentist’s chair, there were a couple of trades in the NFL. The San Francisco 49ers, for example, sent veteran LB Kwon Alexander to New Orleans in exchange for LB Kiko Alonso and a conditional 5th round pick this year. Meanwhile, the LA Chargers sent veteran CB Desmond King to Tennessee for a 6th round pick. The NFL’s trade deadline comes up at the end of business tomorrow afternoon.
