Star game coaching changes … As first reported by Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, there will be a major change beginning this year as to how coaches are assigned to Senior Bowl and East-West Shrine all-star games. In the past, both teams in the Senior Bowl had full NFL coaching staffs, however, this year, the two full staffs will be assigned to the teams in the Shrine game, while the Senior Bowl will be coached by a collection of coaches nominated by their respective teams from across the league. Then starting in 2024, the coaching arrangements will rotate every year with the Senior Bowl getting full staffs in even years and nominated coaches in odd years, while the Shrine game will have to opposite.
