Playoff bowls finally arrive … The preliminaries are finally out of the way – well almost – and the only bowls that really matter kick-off later today with the CFL national semi-final playoffs on the schedule. Top-ranked and defending national champion Alabama takes on #4 Washington in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta in the first national semi-final at 3 PM ET on ESPN. Then it will be #2 Clemson against #3 Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix which gets underway at 7 PM ET also on ESPN. And needless to say there will be plenty of talent for the 2017 draft on the field later today including as many as a dozen first-round prospects. Here’s a quick preview of who to watch with an eye toward the 2017 draft in Saturday’s national semi-finals.
