CFP Semi-finals on tap … Truth is that the only bowls that anybody really cares about this year are the two CFP semi-final games scheduled for tomorrow and the national championship game on January 10th. And tomorrow’s semi-final games couldn’t be any different. In the first, defending national champion Alabama will play Cincinnati, the first ever playoff qualifier from a non-Power 5 conference, in the Cotton Bowl with KO at 3:30 PM ET Friday afternoon on ESPN in a game that has lopsided rout written all over it. Meanwhile, in the nightcap, Georgia will face Michigan in the Orange Bowl starting at 7:30 PM ET, again on ESPN, in a classic SEC-Big 10 slugfest featuring two of the best defenses in the country. And needless to say, there will be all kinds of top prospects for the 2022 draft in uniform tomorrow, including at least a couple with the potential to be the first player off the board come April. Here’s a preview of who to watch in Friday’s national semi-finals.
