CFP playoff seedings tweaked … For those that keep track of these things, we are exactly 100 days today away from August 30th, the first big Saturday on the upcoming college schedule. And there will be a major change to this year’s college playoffs as the CFP announced earlier today that a straight seeding model will be used this year. Last year, of course, there was a ton of controversy as the four top seeds were awarded to the highest ranked conference champions despite the fact that 3 of the 4 league titlists were actually among the lowest ranked teams that earned post-season berths.
