CFL GM passes away … Sad news from the Canadian league as Hamilton announced earlier today that Ti-Cats GM Ted Goveia had died. Goveia revealed earlier this year that he had been diagnosed with a serious form of cancer, but carried on with his work with the team. Goveia was a veteran of Canadian football having coached at the college level for 15 years before spending another 15 years in various administrative roles in the CFL culminating in his appointment as the GM of his home-team last December.
