CFL combine list announced

February 25, 2024

CFL combine list announced … While most of the football world is focused on the NFL combine which gets underway in Indianapolis tomorrow, the Canadian league has announced its initial invite list to the annual CFL scouting for combine. A total of 71 players have been invited to the CFL combine, including 11 international prospects, which is scheduled for March 19-24 in Winnipeg. The final CFL combine roster will be augmented by the top prospects at the CFL’s invitational combine on March 8th in Waterloo. However, most of the top prospects for the upcoming CFL draft, including Illinois OT Isaiah Adams as well as TEs Theo Johnson of Penn State and Arizona’s Tanner McLachan, who will be at this week’s NFL combine, will not be participating in the Winnipeg combine. Interestingly, the list of non-CFL combine participants also includes the two top prospects from Canadian universities, UBC offensive linemen Theo Benedet, an OT who is the #2 ranked CFL prospect, and 6-7, 350 G/T Gio Muni. Instead they will hold their own pro day at the UBC campus on March 29th. The 2024 CFL draft is scheduled for April 30th.
