CB Dejean doesn’t run at Iowa pro day … No real surprise here but star Iowa CB Cooper Dejean did not work out run at the Iowa pro day earlier today. Dejean, a late first round prospect who also wasn’t able to participate in last month’s combine, is still rehabbing from a broken leg suffered late last season. Dejean, though, still hopes to be able to work out for pro teams at a private pro day around April 15th. Dejean is the Hawkeyes lone legit prospect for the upcoming draft, but DE Joe Evans at least was able to make the case that he maybe deserves another look with a strong performance at the Iowa pro day. Evans, who had 9.5 sacks last fall, is an odd-shaped 6-1, 245, but he’s a very good athlete who reportedly posted a 41.5-inch vertical today while running a 4.67 40. In fact, Evans reported after the event that more than one team inquired whether he might consider a position switch to FB.
