CB Booth sits Tigers’ pro day; to have surgery … NFL teams were hoping that star Clemson CB andrew Booth, one of the top 3-4 players at the position for the 2022 draft, would be able to participate in yesterday’s pro day at the school after he sat out the combine becuae of what was reported as a strained quad. However, Booth was again forced to watch from the sidelines yesterday and afterward indicated that he will undergo to repair a core muscle issue. That’s obviously lousy timing with the draft now less than 6 weeks away and means that Booth likely won’t be able to work at all before the draft and if he does he likely won’t be anywhere near 100%. Whether it will hurt his stock won’t be known until the draft, but it certainly doesn’t help.
