Pack journo packs it in … Veteran Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Bob McGinn, the paper’s Packer beat reporter is retiring. In addition to covering the Packers, McGinn was also arguably the best beat reporter in the league when it came to covering the draft. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

(9:55 PM ET): Interesting pick by the Eagles in DE Derek Barnett who broke former Eagles’ star Reggie White’s career sack record at Tennessee. No question that Barnett is as productive as they come, but you’ll have to look a long time to find a successful 259-pound edge rusher in the NFL with 4.85-4.90 speed. Time will tell.
