Cards keep top pick heading into final week; #2 still up for grabs … Arizona will head into the final week of the NFL regular schedule sitting on the #1 pick overall for the 2019 draft. And with a tough road date at Seattle to wrap up the year next week, the odds are looking pretty good that Arizona will in fact have the top pick this coming April. At the same time, picks 2-3-4 in this week’s selection order will be decided by tonight’s Monday nighter between Denver and Oakland. If the Broncos win, the Raiders will hold the 2nd pick for at least this week, followed by San Francisco at #3 and the Jets at #4. However, if the Raiders pull off the upset and knock off Denver, the 49ers would move back into the #2 pick, followed by the Jets and Raiders at #s 3 and 4. At the same time, at least for this week, Detroit will hold the 5th pick with Tampa Bay #6, while Buffalo and the Giants would be in a flip situation for the 7-8 picks. As usual, the full opening round selection order, at least for this week, will be updated after tonight’s Monday night game.
