Cards in catbird seat early at 2024 draft … Obviously, the numbers likely will change between now and April, but for now Arizona appears to be the team in the best position to do some damage in the early going at the upcoming draft. Indeed, the Cardinals currently have 6 picks through the first three rounds of the 2024 selection including the 4th overall. At the same time, Washington and Green Bay have 5 picks apiece, while Detroit, San Francisco and the NY Giants have 4 each. At the other end of the spectrum, New Orleans currently has but one lonely pick in this year’s first three rounds, although at least the Saints still have their first rounder (#14 overall). Meanwhile, Buffalo, Miami, Minnesota, Carolina, Tennessee, Cleveland and the NY Jets have just 2 picks within the upcoming draft’s first three rounds.
