Cards GM on personal leave; QB done for year

Cards GM on personal leave; QB done for year … Hard to imagine a team having a worse day than Arizona had to today. First, the team announced that G.M. Steve Keim will be taking an indefinite leave of absence from the team because of an undisclosed health situation. In his absence the G.M. duties will be shared Player Personnel VP Quentin Harris and Pro Personnel VP Adrian Wilson. Keim was already under heavy pressure from fans and the media in Arizona as the Cardinals have struggled to a very disappointing 4-9 record in a season they were expected to battle for a playoff spot. And it isn’t going to get any better for the Cardinals as it was confirmed today that star QB Kyler Murray tore an ACL in Monday’s loss to New England. Given that the rehab time frame for an ACL is usually set for 9 months it’ll be 50-50 whether Murray is back for the start of the season next fall.
