Cards-Chiefs swap CB, swap future pick

Cards-Chiefs swap CB, future pick; Titans cut late rounder … It has actually been a pretty quiet day on the NFL transaction wire despite the fact that the clock is ticking for teams to get down to their opening day 53-man roster by 4 PM ET tomorrow afternoon. In the day’s only trade, Arizona acquired veteran CB Marcus Cooper from Kansas City for what is being reported as a conditional late-round pick in the 2018 draft. And so far, only two teams – Buffalo and Tennessee – have completed their cuts to get that opening day roster limit. Included among the players the Titans released earlier today was CB Kalan Reed, a 7th round at this year’s draft.
