Cal QB to enter draft

December 31, 2015

Top QBs enter draft … While Clemson was defeating Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl to advance to the college football national championship, junior QBs Jared Goff of California and Paxton Lynch of Memphis, the top two prospects at the position for the upcoming draft, both announced that, as expected, they will be entering the 2016 draft where they are expected to be top 5-10 picks. Meanwhile, one side note from the Orange Bowl, star Clemson junior DE Shaq Lawson, a top 15 prospect for the upcoming draft, was forced to leave the game with an apparent knee injury. Lawson indicated to a sideline reporter that he will be ready to go in the national title game on January 11th, but was noticeably limping in street clothes on the sidelines at the end.
