Busy day ahead at combine … Today could very well be the busiest day at this week’s scouting combine in Indianapolis. The CBs and safeties will be going through the weigh-in and measurement phase, while the defensive linemen will do the bench press among other activities. The real action though will be on the field where the QBs, WRs and TEs will go through their physical testing and positional drills. Note it all gets underway at 10 AM ET this morning rather than the usual start time of 9 AM. Also note that along with the regular all-day coverage by the NFL Network starting at 10, ABC will provide the first ever network coverage of the combine with a three-hour show from 1-4 PM ET. For the receivers, the big test will be the 40, while the QBs will throw. Unfortunately, the guy everybody wants to see in action, Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray isn’t going to do anything today; instead he’ll workout for NFL people at the school’s pro day on March 13th. However, Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins, the other top-rated QB in this year’s draft class, as well as most of the other top QB prospects will be throwing today.
