Buffs’ QB Sanders with back injury; two other to transfer … Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders, who did not play in the Buffs’ season finale against Utah, revealed over the weekend that he has been dealing with a fracture in his back for at least ‘awhile.’ While he had been considered a potential top 5-10 prospect for the upcoming draft, Sanders will be returning to school for the 2024 season according to Deion Sanders his father and coach. Meanwhile, a couple of other veteran QBs in Will Rogers of Mississippi State and Kansas State’s Will Howard, both of whom would have been later round/free agent prospects this year, have indicated that they will be entering the transfer portal and using their final year of eligibility elsewhere next fall.
