Bucks’ Fields worth the wait … The Big Ten finally got back on the field this weekend and for Ohio State QB Justin Fields it seems the wait was worth it. Indeed, Fields was almost perfect as he completed 20-of-21 passes for 276 yards and a pair of TDs in the Buckeyes’ easy 52-17 win over Nebraska. For good measure, Fields who is generally considered to be the second-ranked QB in the 2021 draft class behind only Trevor Lawrence of Clemson, also ran for another 54 yards and a TD on 15 carries. Lawrence, on the other hand, had maybe his worst start of the season as he completed 27 of 43 passes – just 63% – and a couple of TDs against Syracuse, but also had a pick that was returned for a TD. The top-ranked Tigers, though, were able to rally to a 47-21 win over the Orange who have played them tough over the past several years.
