Buckeye DT latest to enter draft … Ohio State junior DT Kayden McDonald became the 4th Buckeyes’ underclassman to commit to entering the 2026 draft thereby bypassing his remaining year of eligibility. The 6-3, 325-pound McDonald, who had 65 tackles (which is a lot for a DT) including 3 sacks and a couple of forced fumbles, is currently considered to be the #2 prospect at the position for the upcoming draft behind Peter Woods of Clemson and with mid-to-late first round potential. He joins fellow Ohio State juniors S Caleb Downs, LB Arvell Reese and WR Carnell Tate in entering this year’s draft.
