Browns’ QB Osweiler reportedly back on the trade block … Just hours after Cleveland announced that rookie QB DeShone Kizer will start this week’s pre-season game with Tampa Bay, rumors started to circulate that the Browns are again looking to trade veteran QB Brock Osweiler . Cleveland tried to move him back in March after acquiring him from him from Houston, but didn’t get any takers at that time. And the Browns aren’t likely to get much interest in Osweiler at this time either given his $16M guaranteed salary which is for 2017. The Browns, who asked for a 3rd rounder in exchange for Osweiler back in March, could sweeten the deal by picking up a part of that base salary, however, what’s more likely to happen is that Osweiler gets released prior to the start of the season.
