Browns QB Griffin out longer than first thought … There are multiple reports out that Cleveland QB Robert Griffin is now expected to be out at least 10-12 weeks as a result of the broken collarbone he suffered in last weekend’s season opener against Philadelphia. Griffin was placed on recallable IR and there were hopes in Cleveland that he would be able to return once the 8-week waiting period was over. In his place, the Browns have turned the QB reins over to veteran journeyman Josh McCown. However, whomever Cleveland goes with at QB, they are expected to be looking at the position with their early round picks at the 2017 draft, although this is the Browns and one can never be sure. Stay tuned!!
