Browns add longtime Pack exec to senior personnel staff … New Cleveland G.M. John Dorsey does not appear to be wasting any time putting his people in place to run the franchise. The Browns just hired longtime Green Bay executive Alonzo Highsmith as a VP in the Browns personnel department. Highsmith spent the past 19 years with the Packers where he worked with Dorsey from 2000-2012. It is still not entirely clear what Highsmith’s role with the Browns will be, but clearly the organization, which is 1-31 the past two seasons, will have a more football professional look to it going forward.
