Browns get OBJ from Giants for picks, S Peppers … Wow; you shut your system down for some quiet to finally complete the post-combine GBN Big Board, all heck breaks loose as the Giants have traded enigmatic WR Odell Beckham to Cleveland in exchange for the 17th pick overall in this April’s draft, a third round pick (the 95th overall that Cleveland had earlier acquired from New England) and SS Jabril Peppers. The Giants had resigned Beckham to a mega-deal last summer, but he wore out his welcome in New York with another series of off-field antics this fall. With the addition of the two picks from the Browns, the Giants now have 12 total picks in this April’s draft, tying them with New England for the most in the league.Meanwhile, Beckham will be re-united with former LSU teammate Jarvis Landry with the Browns who have clearly set their sites on the playoffs and beyond after acquiring QB Baker Mayfield in last year’s draft..
