Browns cat out of the bag??? … Not sure if this has been widely reported, but it appears that Cleveland head coach Hue Jackson may have inadvertantly let the proverbial cat out of the bag what the Browns were thinking regarding the #1 pick in this year’s draft when he was quoted in response to a question at the NFL owners meeting earlier this week as saying: “Obviously, as you guys have already pegged it, we’re taking a quarterback, and then here comes the #4 pick.” In fact, it has been pretty much a given around the league the past couple of weeks that the Browns will be taking a QB with the #1 pick overall at next month’s draft. What isn’t quite as clear is which guy they will be taking. Southern Cal’s Sam Darnold remains the heavy favorite, but there is at least something of a buzz out there that Wyoming’s Josh Allen could still be in the picture. Stay tuned.
