Broncos sign Packers’ OC Hackett as new head coach … Denver has a new head coach as the Broncos are reportedly working out the last fine details on a contract with Nathaniel Hackett who spent the past three seasons as Green Bay’s offensive co-ordinator. And that set off a new round of speculation that the Broncos may go after Packers’ QB Aaron Rodgers who is deciding on his future. There were rumblings early last year that Rodgers wanted out of Green Bay and that Denver would be a logical landing spot, but of course, in the end those reports came to nothing and Rodgers returned to the Packers, had an MVP type season and then crashed out of the playoffs in the first round. And whether its Rodgers or someone else, Hackett’s first job in Denver will be to find a new QB. Stay tuned!
