Broncos QBs all out of Sunday game

November 28, 2020

Broncos QBs all ruled out of Sunday game … Its the doomsday scenario that has kept NFL execs awake at all season. Denver, which is scheduled to play New Orleans tomorrow afternoon, won’t have an NFL QB available as everyone in their positional room has been ruled out of the game by the NFL as they were in close contact with someone who has tested positive for covid. The Broncos originally placed backup Jeff Driskel on the COVID-19/reserve list Thursday after he tested positive. Fellow quarterbacks Drew Lock, Brett Rypien and Blake Bortles were then ruled ineligible for Sunday’s game after it was determined they were in close contact with Driskel. It is still possible the game could still be delayed or postponed, but there just aren’t a lot of rescheduling options out there. In fact, while no one will say so publicly, NFL officials are really worried that the schedule could be in real jeopardy as the pandemic continues to rage with no end in sight at least in the short term. Stay tuned!
