Top prospect Bosa out until November … According to a report from his father, Ohio State junior DE Nick Bosa, the early consensus top prospect overall for the 2019 draft, will not play again until at least November after undergoing surgery on what is being described as a ‘core muscle’. Bosa suffered what is believed to be either a groin or abdominal strain in the Buckeyes’ big win over TCU in Dallas two weeks ago. That means Bosa is definitely out of this coming weekend’s Big Ten East showdown with Penn State as well as at least three other games. If Bosa can get back by the start of November, he’d still have 4 games to play including the Buckeyes’ games with Michigan and Michigan State. It also doesn’t appear likely at this time that the injury would have a major impact on Bosa’s grade if he were to enter this year’s draft, especially if he is able to get back on the field by November. Stay tuned!
