Border War on bowl schedule

‘Border War’ on bowl schedule … With just one more sleep until the CFP quarterfinals get underway New Year’s Eve, there’s only one game on the college bowl schedule today as Iowa plays Missouri in the Music City Bowl in Nashville at 2:30 PM ET on ESPN. Its an interesting game in that its between teams representing states that have actually been involved in a real border war, but they have almost never played. Indeed, this will just be the 2nd time since 1910 that Iowa and Missouri have met on the football field. Unfortunately, though, neither of the two best prospects in this game – Missouri WR Luther Burden nor Iowa RB Kaleb Johnson – will be playing, but there are several other that are playing worth a look including CB Sebastian Castro (#29, 5-11, 205), LBs Jay Higgins (#34, 6-2, 235, and Nick Jackson (#10, 6-0, 235), TE Luke Lachey (#85, 6-5, 250), C Logan Jones (#65, 6-3, 295) and OG Connor Colby (#77, 6-5, 310) of Iowa and QB Brady Cook (#12, 6-2, 220), WR Theo Wease (#1, 6-1, 195) and RB Nate Noel (#8, 5-10, 190) of Missouri.
