Bonus bowl coverage … Update: Of course right on cue when the game kicked off we find that neither of the OTs are in fact playing! The big games today – in fact the only college games that really matter at all these days – are the CFP semi-finals that go later this afternoon and evening. However, there are a couple of earlier games today including Central Michigan against Washington State in the Sun Bowl in El Paso. That kicks off at Noon ET and does have several draft prospects definitely worth a look. In particular, CMU OT Bernhard Raimann (#76, 6-7, 305) who is in fact one of the hotter prospects for the upcoming draft. He’s a long athlete with great feet who is starting to get some late first round interest. He’ll be blocking for Chippewas RB Lew Nichols (#7, 5-10, 225), an emerging redshirt sophomore who led the country in rushing this past season with over 1,700 yards. Meanwhile, Washington State also has a pretty good OL prospect of its own in RT Abraham Lucas (#72, 6-6, 320) who figures to get some mid second day interest this spring.
