Bolts fire GM, head coach in wake of blowout loss … An ugly week for the LA Chargers got a little uglier this morning as the team has fired both G.M. Tom Telesco and head coach Brandon Staley following last night’s embarrassing 63-21 loss to Las Vegas on national TV. The loss to the Raiders also pushed the 5-9 Chargers all the way up to the 5th pick in the first-round selection order for the 2024 draft at least for a few days. The Chargers had come into the week in the 9th spot. In fact, the Chargers and the Raiders pretty much flipped draft positions, again at least for a few days, as Las Vegas moved from 6th to 10th. At the same time, Chicago slipped from 5th to 6thas a result of last night’s result, while the Jets and Giants remain in the 7-8 spots.
