Boiler DT to enter supp draft

Boiler DT to enter supp draft … ESPN is reporting that Purdue DT Ra’Zahn Howard will enter this summer’s supplemental draft. Howard is reportedly leaving school because of academic reasons. Howard, a three-year starter at Purdue, was suspended from the program in January and had indicated that he would be transferring. Howard, who is listed at 6-3, 325 by the school, has NFL size, but was never a huge playmaker at Purdue posting just 23 tackles and one sack last fall. Howard will reportedly hold a pro day workout in New Jersey on July 8. If a team selects a player in the supplemental draft it forfeits its corresponding pick in next year’s draft.
