Big uglies are on the track … The 40s are underway at the scouting combine in Indianapolis with the first group of offensive linemen on the track. And it was a great start for Utah OT Garrett Bolles whose initial time was 4.96 seconds for the 40 with a quick 1.71 10-yard split. As we have noted the official electronic times which will be announced once every has done their two sprints tend to be a slower than the initial numbers which are hand timed but that’s still a very good time for Bolles and should cement his status as one of the top 2-3 prospects at the position for the 2017 draft. Note, that we’ll be commenting on the rest of the combine activity today at the combine blog. Should be fun especially with the RBs, featuring the on-going dual between LSU’s Leonard Fournete and Florida State’s Dalvin Cook.
