Big uglies bench press wraps combine … The 2024 NFL scouting combine wraps up in Indianapolis later this morning with the offensive linemen doing their bench press. In fact, though, NFL teams have already gone home. However, there won’t be much of a break for their scouts and top personnel execs as they’ll have just enough time to hug their families and get a change of clothes before heading out on the pro day circuit which gets underway Wednesday with a workout at Northwestern. The pro day schedule, though, doesn’t really hit high gear until later in the month. We’re still putting together a full pro day schedule but key dates we already know about include workouts at Oregon and South Carolina on March 12th; Georgia on March 13th; Penn State n March 15th; Alabama and Southern Cal on March 20th; Notre Dame on March 21st; Michigan on March 22nd; LSU and Mississippi on March 23rd; and Clemson on April 6th. Also of note, Big XII teams, including Texas and Oklahoma for at least this year, will be holding a conference wide mini-combine on March 27-30.
