First place; top pick on the line in NFL action … Fascinating Sunday coming up in the NFL later today with three games for first place in their respective divisions with Green Bay hosting Chicago in the NFC North; Jacksonville facing Indianapolis in the AFC South and Pittsburgh battling Baltimore in the AFC North. For the record, the Steelers-Ravens and Colts-Jags are 1 PM ET games while the Bears-Packers is a late afternoon contest.
There is also a somewhat fascinating game on today’s docket with draft implications as Tennessee, which is currently sitting on the #1 pick overall were the draft held this week playing at Cleveland which holds the 5th pick. And what gives that game a little extra spice is that it will match-up Titans’ QB Cam Ward, the first player picked at the 2025 draft, against Browns’ QB Shedeur Sanders, who was widely expected to be the 2nd player picked, literally right up until he wasn’t. For the record, though, this may not be the ‘draft’ game of the year as the Titans are set to host New Orleans, which will be trying harder at #2 if the Saints lose at Tampa Bay later today.
