BGSU TE sets single season records … Bowling Green TE Harold Fannin set a couple of all-time single season records for the position during last night’s bowl loss to Arkansas State. Fannin, a junior who still hasn’t officially declared for the draft, hauled in 17 passes for 213 yards and a TD in last night’s game to give him 117 receptions on the year for 1,555 yards, both all-time single season highs for TEs. Fannin, who at 6-4, 230 is more of an H-back type is probably still only an early 3rd day prospect, but is the kind of player that teams do like to bring to camp to see if their skill set does indeed translate to the NFL. And as noted yesterday, while Fannin doesn’t play against top-level college competition every week, when he did play against top Power-4 conference teams he played as he totalled 19 catches for 280 yards in games against Penn State and Texas A&M this season.
