Bengals, Rams off to Super Bowl; two more picks secured … It will be the upstart Cincinnati Bengals versus the LA Rams in the Super Bowl in Los Angeles in two weeks as both staged comeback wins today to advance to the championship game. The Bengals overcame a 21-3 second quarter deficit and stunned heavily favored Kansas City 27-24 in overtime to advance to their first Super Bowl since the late 1980s; for the record the Bengals have never actually won a Super Bowl. The Rams have, but never while based in Los Angeles; they moved on to the big game by overcoming a ten-point 3rd quarter deficit to defeat San Francisco 20-17. At the same time, the 29th and 30th picks in the opening round selection order of the 2022 draft were also settled. Miami, with the 49ers pick, will pick 29th, while the Chiefs will have the 30th pick. The final two picks will be based on the Super Bowl with the winner getting the 32nd pick and the loser the 31st.
