Bears sign top picks … Chicago avoided holdouts from its two first round picks at the 2024 draft, inluding QB Caleb Williams the #1 pick overall, when the Bears came to terms with Williams and WR Rome Udunze with rookies supposed to start training camp today. Williams, who represented himself, signed a $40M contract with $26M guaranteed, while Odunze, the 9th player taken this past April, signed a $23M deal with $13M guaranteed. Both contracts are the standard 4-year deals with a club option for a 5th.
