Bears loss keeps Giants at 5-6 … With Chicago apparently going down to defeat to Minnesota in the late Monday night game this evening, we can confirm that the Giants will again be sitting on both the 5th and 6th picks were the 2022 draft to be held this week. One is their own and the other they acquired from Chicago during the 2021 draft. It also appears that Carolina will have moved up to the 7th pick. However, the rest of the top ten and beyond won’t be decided until after Tuesday’s make-up games. If Seattle loses to the LA Rams, for example, the NY Jets, who have the Seahawks pick, will have the 8th pick, at least for the week, while a Seahawks win over the Rams would move Atlanta up into the 8th slot. The full, opening round selection order, were the draft to be held this week, will be updated after the completion of Tuesday’s games.
