Bearcats shake up college football; beat Irish … For those that have been out in the garden or whatever, Cincinnati upset the apple cart in college football this afternoon with a convincing 24-13 win at Notre Dame. That means the Bearcats will move up from #7 and if they can stay unbeaten the rest of the way it will be hard for the folks that run CFP to keep Cincinnati, which plays in the non-Power 5 American Athletic Conference, out of this year’s 4-team playoff. Star UC QB Desmond Ridder led the way throwing for two TDs and running for a third, while the Bearcats’ defense forced three first-half turnovers.
