Baylor BBaller to enter draft … Interesting story at Baylor where star basketball junior power forward Rico Gathers has confirmed that he has decided decided to enter the 2016 NFL draft as an underclassman. The 6-8, 275-pound Gathers, who projects to play TE in the NFL, although some teams may also want to get a look at him as a DE, will miss Baylor’s pro day later this month because of a conflict with the NCAA college basketball tournament which Baylor will be playing in. As such, Gathers will be holding a private workout in the middle of April, where he has reportedly asked former Baylor QB Robert Griffin to throw for him. Gathers has made several All-America and all-conference teams as one of the most physical rebounders in the country who averaged over 8 boards per game in his career. However, Gathers hasn’t played football since before high school so there will be some major adjustments.
