Bama-Clemson rematch set for CFP title game … It will be deja vu all over again as for the second straight year it will be Alabama versus Clemson in the CFP national championship game. This year’s national title bowl will be played in Tampa on January 9th. Last year Alabama held off the Tigers’ 45-40 in a thriller. Unfortunately there wasn’t much drama in today’s national semi-finals as Alabama cruised past Washington 24-7 in the Peach Bowl while Clemson embarrassed Ohio State 31-0 in the Fiesta.
