A&M WR Kirk one of five to enter draft; Badger LB stays put … Texas A&M junior WR/KR Christian Kirk heads a list of three underclassmen who announced their intention to enter the 2018 draft. The 5-11, 200-pound Kirk is currently the 5th rated receiver on the GBN positional board and the 34th rated overall prospect. At the same time, Southern Miss junior WR Korey Robertson will also be entering the draft after a breakout year in which the 6-1, 210-pounder had 76 receptions for over 1,100 yards and 12 scores, although he is still considered to be more of a free agent type candidate. Nebraska junior G/T Nick Gates has also entered the 2018; he’s a three-year starter at OT who figures to be a late round pick as an OG. Same for both Stanford junior TE Dalton Schultz and Oregon State RB Ryan Nall who also indicated today that they will be turning pro this winter. Schultz is a 6-5, 265-pounder, while Nall is a 255-poind battering ram who could find a niche as a FB as he’s also a pretty good receiver. On the other hand, Wisconsin junior LB T.J. Edwards has reported that he intends to return to school for his senior campaign next fall.
