Arch says no decision on draft … Texas QB Arch Manning, the presumptive consensus top prospect for the upcoming draft were he to turn pro this winter, said in a pre-season interview that he really hasn’t made any decisions about the 2025 draft, that he’s just taking it day-to-day. He also kind of disputed comments by grandpa Archie Manning who predicted earlier this month that Arch would be back at Texas next fall. “I don’t know where he got that from” said Arch when he met with SEC reporters prior to the start of the upcoming season. Arch added that that Archie texted him to apologize about that prediction, but that they have a great relationship and talk regularly with grandpa also closing every conversation with the plea to ‘get down!’ Still, most analysts around the league doubt that Arch will in fact leave school early and enter the upcoming draft because its just not what Mannings do!
