Another top QB prospect to return to school … While warming up for this weekend’s first round CFP playoff game, Penn State got some good news as junior QB Drew Allar informed team officials that he would be returning to school for his final year of eligibility next fall rather than take his chances in the upcoming NFL draft. Allar is the 2nd junior QB who had been considered to be a potential top prospect at the position to opt to return to school joining Garrett Nussmeier who announced his return to LSU last week, while the NFL is still waiting to hear from Jalen Milroe of Alabama, Carson Beck of Georgia and Quinn Ewers of Texas. Like Allar, Beck and Ewers are still in the playoffs and may not announce until they’re done.
