Another GOAT on the way out … Literally barely 24 hours after Alabama head coach Nick Saban, who won more collegiate national championships than any other coach in history, retired, word out of New England is that the Patriots and head coach Bill Belichek, who won more Super Bowls than any coach in NFL history, will be parting ways. However, unlike Saban who retired, it is believed that Belichek may still want to coach and its hard to imagine that there are franchises out there that would hire him in a heartbeat. In fact, even before this morning’s announcement there have been rumors circulating that Washington, with new ownership, for one, might be very interested in Belichek. Meanwhile, whispers are growing that Jim Harbaugh, fresh off winning this year’s national college title with Michigan would like back into the NFL and has been associated with the open coaching job with the LA Chargers. For the record, other NFL teams looking coaches include Carolina, Washington, Seattle and Tennessee.
