And we are off and running!!! … The 2025 draft process ‘officially’ got underway earlier today when Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders met with Tennessee and three other teams – Dallas, Seattle and Chicago – ahead of the start of the East-West Shrine week. And the Titans, who have the first pick overall at the upcoming draft, were well represented with Chad Brinker, head of football ops, GM Mike Borgonzi and head coach Brian Callahan among others in attendance. While Sanders did not workout or throw today, the Titans at least claim they came away impressed; Callahan was quoted for example saying that Sanders was “… mature. He has a really poised way about him, and he seems like a really good kid. I enjoyed talking to him. And, you could tell he’s a guy who has been in the spotlight. He knows how to handle himself. He’s been paid money, so he has a financial perspective.” As was widely reported over the past couple of days, the Titans are rumored to be more inclined to either take one of the potential elite non-QB prospects with the first pick overall or stockpile picks by trading it rather than selecting a QB. However, they also don’t have a QB, plus it never hurts if one is trying to trade a pick to drive up the price by making the potential buyers thing you might take the player they want.
