USC RB to enter draft; Irish DL not … Southern California junior RB Javoris ‘Buck’ Allen as confirmed that he will be entering the 215 draft. The 6-1, 220 pound Allen is considered to be a late second or early third day prospect after he rushed for just under 1,500 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while he also caught 41 passes. At the same time, Notre Dame junior DE Sheldon Day has reportedly opted to return to school for his senior season next fall.

Bisons win 4th straight FCS title … If the FBS championship game between Ohio State and Oregon is anywhere near as good as today’s FCS title game, college football fans are in for a real treat on Monday night. North Dakota State won its 4th straight FCS title with a 29-27 win over a game Illinois State in Frisco, Texas earlier this afternoon. However, NDSU didn’t take the lead for good until the final minute when junior QB QB Carson Wentz ran 5 yards for the winning touchdown with just 38 seconds on the clock. That came barely a minute after Illinois State QB Tre Roberson had run 58 yards for a TD to put the Redbirds ahead for the first time on the day.
