A 2nd Aggie DE defects to NFL; QB Van Dyke to transfer

A 2nd Aggie DE defects to NFL; QB Van Dyke to transfer … Texas A&M’s Nic Scourton has become the second 3rd-year junior Aggie DE to announce today that they will be entering the draft with a year of eligibility remaining after Shemar Stewart did so this morning. Scourton, a 6-4, 280-pounder with LB speed and agility, has been a rising star for the 2025 draft, but the fact he only had 5 sacks on the year may cause his stock to slip into the mid first round area rather than the top 10. Meanwhile, the college football transfer portal opened today and one name that appeared on the docket is that of QB Tyler Van Dyke, a one-time top prospect at the position who transferred to Wisconsin from Miami last winter, but tore an ACL early in the year so still has a year of eligibility remaining.
