Baylor RB gets the boot … Baylor has confirmed that RB Devin Chafin, a 5th year senior who would have been a late-round prospect for the 2017 draft, has been dismissed from the university’s football program. No specific reason for the dismissal was given, but Chafin was suspended earlier this year was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana earlier this year; he was also one of the players accused of domestic violence noted in the damning report that got university president Kenneth Starr and head coach Art Briles fired earlier this month. Chafin had been accused by his girlfriend of assaulting her on two different occasions in 2014, although no charges were filed in those cases. The 6-0, 225-pound Chafin ran for 578 yards in 2015 and scored 9 times for Baylor.
