‘Other’ bowl season wraps up … For those that just didn’t get enough football with today’s NFL wild card games, the college bowl season – other than the national championship game on January 12th – wraps up later tonight with the much-anticipated match-up Toledo (8-4) and Arkansas State (7-5) in the GoDaddy Bowl in Mobile. Kick-off is set for 9 PM ET with coverage by ESPN. However, while this game has the potential to provide some truly riveting, edge-of-your-seat action, there won’t be a whole lot of 2015 draft prospects to chew on on the the field. Toledo does have a couple of later round candidates in veteran OG Greg Mancz (#75, 6-4, 300) and WLB Junior Sylvestre (#33, 6-0, 235), while PK Jeremiah Detmer (#85, 5-8, 170) could get some free-agent interest, while Arkansas State is unlikely to have anyone drafted this year, but has a trio of free-agent prospects in WLB Qushawn Lee (#48, 5-11, 225), CB Artez Brown (#10, 5-11, 180) and FS Sterling Young (#11, 6-1, 195).
